Never been to Greece

Next shawl was a quick one and the first one I ever done in cotton.
It turned out so small but expanded well when it was blocked. I did find it hard to tie the ends properly.

Loved the picot bind off.

The Kindness Shawl done

Knitted this beautiful shawl in a stunning colour but wrong yarn. I could not block it properly because of the bind off I did (Icelandic bind off). So I might rip it all up, knit it again with a better yarn and use the stunning blue one for something else, because I have 2 skeins of it.

Incantation Socks finnished!

These socks were quick and fun to knit. The pattern is so well written and looks great, also fit perfectly.

I joined in with the designer Kay F Jones, from the Bakery Bears Podcast for her #BBOpalKal to knit up things only using Opal Yarn to free up some stash space.  I will defiantly knit these again.

BBOpal KAL

I have joined a KAL that my favourite podcasters The Bakery Bears” have started the 25th of May and it’s running till 30th of June. The name of it is #BBOpalKAL and it’s all about to use up the stash of Opal yarns.
This is the one I have started with, a beautiful colour in orange and purple. The colour is: 9111

And I also decided to use their pattern as well. So a pair od socks called Incantation Socks by Kay Jones and you can buy it on Ravelry.
This is how far i have got on the first sock.

Two different socks at the same time

I’m knitting two pairs of socks at the same time, nothing strange at all with that, but they are for two different persons, and this is the first time I do that. The first pair is for me and the other for my husband who for the first time asked me to knit him a pair!! No preasure there!! First pair of them both are done and I have now started the sedond one for my hubby.

My Socks. A free Swedish pattern called: Anitas randiga i 4-trådigt Opal garn
Yarn: Black Opal and multi coloured ONline Supersocke 4-fach Neon Color
Needles: KnitPro Zing 2.50mm

 Husbands socks: Pattern is a mix between 2 patterns and payed for.
Yarn: Svarta Fåret “Frost”
Needles: ShiaoGoo 2.25mm

Socks and striped ones.

For some time now I have been looking at these socks and wanted to make a pair. Now I finally working on them, but finding a problem. Where the coloured yarn and the solid yarn switch places, a ridge apears on the inside of the sock and I hope I will not feel it when I’m wearing them. Love the effect though.
