I have for a long time wanted to try this and when it was time for a Christmas gig and the artist Steve H Hogarth asked if we could bring a bauble to dress the Christmastree on stage and that a homemade one would be even better, I thought, This is the time to try this. I heard after the show from a proper sorce that he liked it so much and will keep it. You can see it behind him in the tree.

These are my favourite socks out of the ones I have made so far. Love the colours and they fit really well.

So this hat was a simple pattern from a kit, but it was quick toknit and it’s warm. There is enough wool left to knit the cowl from the kit to and will be done later.
