This was the first time ever that I have done colour work and I'm so pleased that it turned out so well as it did. I am going to knit more of this one in other colours and I have all the yarn for it already.

Blizzard Socks

I needed to have a bit of a rest from the Riddari jumper before I get on with the colour work on the yoke, so I thought I cast on a pair of socks in between. Kay Jones from the podcast The Bakery Bears have released a new pattern for us Patreons and it's called Blizzard

So here is the first sock done and I have already done the ribbing on the second sock. It's a bit hard to see it on this photo but the lace pattern is showing fir trees. I have to say that I love her patterns because they are so well written and the patterns are nice and fun to knit.

You can find all her patterns on Ravelry

Riddari

This is the first time I do colour-work and so far it's going well. I'm at the "putting it together" stage now and I'm terrified. I just hope that I will be able to make this one.

Some projects on the Go!

I have a few projects on the go and jumping between them depending on how I fell and the one that has been waiting longest to be picked up again is a bag, a Mochila Bag.

Next one is the Sólja Jumper.

Next is a pair of socks that I have started twice before and this is the third time, the "Hermiones Everyday Socks"

Next in line is the beautiful shawl "Longbourn" by Kay F Jones.

Then to the second "Sommarväskan /Summer bag" by Järbo Garn AB and it's not much to see at the moment.

Then it's the Christmas Scarf because Christmas will soon be here, so why not using a yarn with inbuilt tinsel ?

And then to the latest project, a double think crocheted pot holder.

So these are the things I'm having on the Go at the moment.

Promenade Socks

The designer Kay F Jones has done it again! She has made another fantastic sock pattern called Promenade Socks and can be bought on Ravelry. This woman should, in my opinion, receive a medal for pattern writing. They are so well written that you fly through it and end up with a fantastic item. And this time it's this pair of socks, the Promenade Socks.

Jarbo Garn AB - Summerbag CAL

Järbo Garn launched a CAL ( Crochet-along) that was starting the 2nd of July, called Sommarväskan (The Summer bag). they hade pre-picked 5 colour combinations that can be found on their blog or pick your own. The yarn was Järbo Garn "Soft Cotton".  I picked the pre-colours Oceaner (Oceans) but the order was so delayed, so after 3 weeks I canceled it and ordered from another place and also changed the colour-set to Lavendel (Lavender) after starting to see how the bags look in the  Facebook group for this event, and I thought it was to much green and less blue (blue being my favourite colour).

The pattern was very interesting and easy to follow but the start and ends of the rows turned very ugly, so I decided to cover it up (I have an idea what to do). So I now decided that I will make another bag in the colour set Oceaner (Oceans) and work that start/end part better and make it nice and tidy.

So here is my Lavendel/Lavender Sommarväska / Summer Bag

After this one was done I decided to make an inside pocket for bits and bobs.
